The TimeLog module is a daily time
sheet for employees. An employee will log in and enter their time details
throughout the day. There are various reporting options on the Options
screen. If job numbers are entered for time entries these time entries
will be displayed on the TimeLog screen in the Jobs module for those jobs.
Default cost and charge rates can be set per employee or job.
Time
details can also be entered directly on a job from the Time screen in the
Jobs module.

Users click on the job number column to specify the job
number from a filter list. A duplicate button beside the Category column
allows the user to duplicate that line so they do not have to specify the
same job details again. Ideal if the same job is being worked on at
different stages throughout the day.
Users with the relevant access
privilege can view timesheets for any employee otherwise this is
restricted.
Time can be entered by a Start and Stop button or
manually entered. Alternatively users can just put a total time in the
time entry instead of having to enter a start and stop
time.

On the Options screen you can do the following:

You are
not restricted to just finding records based on these buttons. On the data
entry screen, clicking the 'Find' button allows you to find records based
on any type of information.
